Immanuel Oby is a driven and accomplished individual born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. After graduating from Madison East High School in 2014, he attended UW-Baraboo/Sauk County before transferring to Concordia University in Chicago, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management in 2019.

Immanuel has had an impressive playing career in both the United States and overseas. He played for several semi-professional basketball teams in the U.S., including the Waukegan Bulldogs and Boilingbrook Bucks in 2019. In 2022, he joined the Madison Mavericks, a team in the Official Basketball Association, where he helped the team achieve a #2 ranking. Immanuel also attended the University of East London, where he earned his Master's Degree in International Business. In 2019 and 2020, he played for East London Phoenix and NBL2 Greenwich Titans, which went on to be cancelled due to COVID.

Immanuel comes from a family that values education, creativity, and faith. His father, Joe, is a Pastor at Northside Christian Assembly, while his mother, Krystal, works as a lawyer for KWO Law. Immanuel has two brothers - Isaiah, who is a music artist and producer, as well as an assistant pastor at Northside Christian Assembly, and Israel, who is also a music artist.

Starting in 2020 with I'm Possible Training in Verona, Wisconsin, Immanuel has trained hundreds of athletes of all ages, passing on his love and knowledge of the game to the next generation. Currently training with Trent Brunker Basketball in Madison, Wisconsin, Immanuel is constantly honing his skills and expanding his knowledge of the sport. In 2022, he hosted his first Elite Basketball Skills Camp, which was a resounding success. With a passion for training and a commitment to helping young players reach their full potential, Immanuel plans to continue organizing more camps and events throughout Wisconsin.

When he's not training or playing basketball, he enjoys watching games at all levels, from high school to the pros. He's also an avid fan of cartoons, anime, and competitive gaming. On the fashion front, he's always on the lookout for unique and stylish pieces, which inspired him to launch his own Instagram Buy/Sell of vintage clothing, Oby's Closet, in 2023.
